- Check your email for an email from me with the feedback I gave you on last week's assignments.
- Respond to my email with any comments, questions, or concerns you may have so that I may know that you have received my feedback. In my email, you will see an example of an appropriate response.
- If you did not receive an email from me, please check again tomorrow during your Advisory period.
- Write down the two assignments that are due by Friday in your planner:
- Getting Ready to Read Heartbeat by David Yoo
- Vocabulary: Informative Writing
- Open the "Introduction to Heartbeat" Slides
- Then open the "Getting Ready to Read Heartbeat" by David Yoo assignment.
- Finalize and submit your assignment.
- With your table, edit and revise each others work.
- Once you're done, log on to Waggle through HMH. You're going to click "Assignments" then "Waggle". Once you're in Waggle, click "English 7 - ELA". Then, begin your English activity on Waggle! :)

- Ms. Rangel will read each sentence first, then the whole class will repeat each sentence by modeling inflection, tone, and pronunciation. Ms. Rangel will clarify the meaning of each vocabulary word.
- Log onto Writeable - Discuss the article and then begin writing your paragraph response on Writeable.
- Write a five sentence paragraph that explains three techniques to help escape upsetting situations. Use at least three quotes from the article to support your response.
